THREE appointments rescheduled by the dentist--each with just a few days notice--in my ~four years as a patient there is TOO many. I came to Dr. Poole's practice following my favorite hygienist there when she changed practices (seriously, she is that good!), but now that she has recently retired, I have no need to be loyal to a practice that disrespects patients' time in this way, over and over again. The latest reschedule request from Dr. Poole came A DAY after an automated text message was sent, confirming my appointment; I texted back acknowledgment and assumed that all was well until the office phoned me, wanting to postpone by a day (which I couldn't do, as my own work schedule cements two months out--not unlike a dentist's office's schedule is planned way in advance). Their otherwise next-available appointment was, of course, not for TWO MONTHS. I asked the office assistant whether this need to reschedule had just come up, given the text confirmation the day before; she said that actually Dr. Poole had made his conflict known to the staff a couple of weeks ago, but they were contacting patients day by day (and so the text was sent out in complete opposition to what the offic
